Become an expert in media relations, marketing, and community engagement for the sport industry with a Sports Media and Communication Graduate Certificate offered through the College of Journalism and Communications at UF.

You’ll learn to use proven strategies and storytelling tools to build sports teams or league brands. Coursework is taught by experienced faculty and includes engaging collaborative projects that immerse you in the world for sports communications. In only four courses, you’ll be able to navigate the changing sports media and communications field with confidence and agility.

There are three opportunities to begin the certificate each year: fall, spring, and summer.

Sports Media and Communication Courses

To earn the Sports Media and Communication Graduate Certificate, you’ll complete four courses (12 credit hours). You can apply the certificate courses toward the 15 credit hour elective requirement of the M.S. in Sport Management.
